Richard (Ricky) Graham, Ph.D., is an educator, designer, and technologist. He received his Ph.D. from Ulster University in Northern Ireland in 2012. He was an Assistant Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey, where he designed and taught music technology courses. He has since developed and taught university courses at multiple arts and engineering schools, including American University, Case Western Reserve University, and IUPUI. While at Case Western, Ricky developed human-centered design workshops for faculty, students, and community members at the university’s dedicated innovation and entrepreneurship center. These workshops then formed the basis of a dedicated undergraduate course focused on design thinking. His academic research centered around the design of digital music systems. In his spare time, Ricky still actively pursues music, software design, and plays soccer at any given opportunity.
