Available to enrolled students in Blackboard, UNIV.0250.DE is GW’s certification course for all graduate students acting as teaching assistants in undergraduate courses. The course is designed to enhance your knowledge of teaching strategies and university policies. In addition, the course will provide valuable resources for you to consult throughout your teaching career. Some of the topics that will be covered in the course are:
- Creating Effective Syllabi
- Principles of Learning
- Teaching Strategies
- Instructor-Student Relationships
This one-credit course is delivered online through Blackboard. Once your registration is confirmed, UNIV 0250 will be available to you in your list of courses. The course comprises several modules, each with interactive discussions and assignments to develop your teaching knowledge.
